Learn To Scuba Dive With CADSAC

Learn To Scuba Dive in NorthamptonshireCorby and District Sub-Aqua Club is offering people the chance to learn to scuba dive, with Free try Dives in Corby Olympic Swimming  pool, as part of the run-up to the London Olympics.  We held our first of two FREE try Scuba dive last Monday night, but not to worry if you missed it we will be holding another this coming Monday 16th July at Corby swimming pool at 8.30pm.

You may have noticed banners around Corby town centre promoting the local sports clubs, and that Corby town Centre was inundated with various local sports clubs showing off their sports and offering free tasters of their clubs sports.  CADSAC were there offering a chance to learn to scuba dive.  With Rob McKenzie our club Secretary and Seb Lund dressing up in their scuba diving kit, even the town mayor Mohammed Rahman wanted to join in.

So what else do you want in this weather?  Yor going to get wet any way!!  Come along and learn to Scuba Dive

The FREE scuba try dive is available to all  ages from 14 and all they will need to take part is swimming gear and a T-shirt.

After the Try Dive sessions, participants can join the club and complete a course to learn to become a fully-qualified scuba-diver.

“The club organises trips abroad for its members each year, as well as visits to the British coast at weekends during the diving season.

“Corby And District Sub-Aqua Club was formed in 1979 and includes members from Corby, Kettering, Market Harborough, Thrapston, Rothwell, Desborough and surrounding villages.

“It meets every Monday in Corby, from 7.30pm, when lectures take place for both new members just learning to dive and existing members who are advancing their qualifications.”
