CADSAC go diving the Sounds of Mull

Written by Mungo on
mull-sea-1024x680CADSAC members are taking the high road to Scotland at the end of March for 3 days diving in the Sound of Mull. 9 divers will board the boat ‘Gaelic Rose’ , http://www.gaelicrose.com/, in Oban and sail to Tobermory. They will be hoping to dive wrecks such as ‘Hispania’ and ‘Rondo’ during the trip. They will be sleeping and eating on the boat but hope to get ashore each evening to sample local hospitality. This is now an annual event for CADSAC, and is usually the first trip of the dive season. Diving officer, John Maughan ,says ‘The west coast of Scotland has some of the best British scenery, both above and below water. The water temperature is usually about 9degrees, helped by the Gulf Stream’.
